Commercial Description:
Light tasting, full bodied continental-style ale with German hop overtones. An excellent choice if you prefer a more traditional, smooth and mild tasting beer.

Draft: pours a clear golden amber with a thin white head, a bit of a yeasty aroma, taste is mellow, light bitterness, some banana maybe. Not too bad but certainly nothing special.

Sample at Brewery(8/25/08)-Pours a hazy golden body with a small covering for a head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, and hops. Taste of banana, hops, and grains. This light bodied beer comes across as a hefe. Nice tasting brew.

On draft at blue star. The beer pours a very clear yellow with a thin head that disappears quickly. The flavor is slightly grassy but very light. This is a take it or leave it beer, not bad but not great.

Draught at the brewpub
Hazy blond color. Light malt taste, some residual sweetness, otherwise it’s a very simple ale.

Draught at Blue Star Brewing Company, San Antonio, Texas.
Hazy yellow beer with a white head. Mild malty and little hoppy aroma with herby tones. Herbs and hops in the flavor, good bitterness and somewhat harsh, but not too much.

Draft, shaker. Nice biscuity malt with a bouquet of floral/perfume hops. Malt (L), hops (M). Light gold, slightly hazy body with a creamy white head. Lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter flavor becomes a lightly acidic, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. The bottom line is: a delicate beer that shows off the subtleties of malt and hops.
