Dry. bp (451), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 1, 2008 Draft: pours a clear golden amber with a thin white head, a bit of a yeasty aroma, taste is mellow, light bitterness, some banana maybe. Aroma of citrus, yeast, and hops. Taste of banana, hops, and grains. This light bodied beer comes across as a hefe. Nice tasting brew. texasbartender (160), Sugarland, Texas, USA Jul 28, 2008 On draft at blue star. The beer pours a very clear yellow with a thin head that disappears quickly. The flavor is slightly grassy but very light. This is a take it or leave it beer, not bad but not great. fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jan 7, 2007 Draught at the brewpub Hazy blond color. Light malt taste, some residual sweetness, otherwise it’s a very simple ale. 11026 (1799), Alabama, USA Sep 11, 2004 Tap. Pale yellow color. Moderate white head. Fairly bland in character. Nothing to rave about. Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark Aug 27, 2004 Draught at Blue Star Brewing Company, San Antonio, Texas. Hazy yellow beer with a white head. Mild malty and little hoppy aroma with herby tones. Herbs and hops in the flavor, good bitterness and somewhat harsh, but not too much. wunderbier (1264), Tampere, Finland Jul 29, 2004 Draft, shaker. Nice biscuity malt with a bouquet of floral/perfume hops. Malt (L), hops (M). Light gold, slightly hazy body with a creamy white head. Lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter flavor becomes a lightly acidic, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. The bottom line is: a delicate beer that shows off the subtleties of malt and hops.
