growler thanks to swalden. Poured amber with medium head. Aroma of sweet malts and hay, some caramel. I didn’t taste the alcohol on this one. Flavor was nice and thick, sweet with some hoppiness at the end. Not a bad barleywine.

Growler thanks to Swalden28. The smell is fruits, some alcohol, toffee, apples, malts, and candy. The look is clear, white head, and orange copper in color. The taste is sweet, sticky, hard candym and hops.

growler thanks to swalden28. i missed the tasting when he had brought this, but he brought it to me about 2-3 weeks later. he was holding it at my request. poured an amber with no head to speak of. aroma at this point was caramel and dark fruits with the flavor being the same. this was probably better when it was fresher.

Growler thanks to Swalden28. Notes of vanilla, alcohol, medicine, and butter scotch. Medium sticky mouthfeel but kind of sloppy when it comes to bws.

Growler thanks to a friend, Craig W. Pours a hazy dark gold with short lived off-white head. Aroma of malt and seemed some what antiseptic. Flavor is very malty, sweet, caramel, some light fruit and light bitter. Mouth feel is heavy body with low carbonation. Overall, a pretty basic, decent, tasty barley wine.....
