Poured a clear amber with ruby highlites with a fizzy off-white head. Bizarre aroma of candy, lime, detergent, and a touch of skunk. Taste is grass, citrus, some tasteless bitter hops and toffee. Thin fizzy body. Not awful, but not good either. SmellGood (319), Memphis, Tennessee, USA

I know it’s odd. Orange/red with a nice thumb thick head. Very mild with ample malt flavors and a taste of buttery popcorn. This is an odd beer. It feels good in the mouth, but takes some getting used to flavor wise. JasonG (700), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

Great malty flavor that is well-balanced with the hops. Not an outstanding beer, but a very good one. And, this one will have a very broad appeal - even to those accustomed to Bud, etc. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA

Poured dark amber color with a creamy offwhite head. Nose of toasted caramel malts and slight hops. Flavor much the same some toffee also detected in the flavor with a little metallic aftertaste that I didn’t particularly care for. On the palate it was medium bodied and pretty drinkable. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 24, 2005 Cinncy Airport - Deep amber, thin creamy head. Nose on this wasn’t half bad with notes of toasted malt, caramel, and slight touches of smoke. Light metallic hop flavors hit initially, but it did mellow and balance out with soft tones of toffee and fruitiness. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, light fruity finish. I’d drink it again over any other usual airport swill...

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 17, 2005 Tawny amber with some orange and a very creamy white head that sticks. Clear and quite carbonated with some floating flakes. Were it not for the flakes it would get a better apperance rating. Aroma is a very big malt flavor. Carmel, full bready slightly roasted malts, and a light hop. Flavor has a faint malt and light sourness coupled with a minor bitterness. Seems watered down. Nice aroma but flavor is lacking somewhat.
