| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 20, 2008 Clear light amber pour with a tall frothy white head that clings the glass towards heaven. Simplistic aroma where raw grain is the dominant feature. Light malt sourness evolves towards a mild fruitiness, but individual flavours are impossible to pick up. No toastiness nor nuttiness involved and the hops are neglectable. Growingly bland by the sip despite its interesting creamy (albeit very light-bodied) palate. Mineral water concludes it all. Poor flavour extraction in this one. It’s hard to believe this came from the same brewers who put out such a nice schwarzbier. bu11zeye (5470), Frisco, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 11, 2003 (Draught) Pours a brownish amber color with a medium-sized off-white head. Not an exciting brew. Kind of water and not that much flavor or complexity. CaptainCougar (5457), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 11, 2002 Very light, sweet, almost floral aroma. The flavor stands out at first but finishes dull and artificial. It has certain doughy characteristics, but overall unimpressive. Cletus (5055), Connecticut, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 19, 2007 Bottle courtesy of Acknud. Pours mahogany with a white head. Smells of oranges, grass and sugar. Tastes of tangy citrus and earthy. Decent, but there are many better altbiers out there.
