| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2007 Appearance: Pours a hazy copper color with a bubbly biege head.
Smell: Hop aroma is suitably floral, and there’s also a bit of grapefruit and bread dough in the nose.
Taste: Lavishly hoppy, with an earthy, altogether grassy bitterness. Thankfully, the malts provide plenty of support, giving both enrichment and balance to the brew. Finishes dry and with a sharp, peppery zip.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, with ample carbonation.
Drinkability: While not the most complex or riveting beer, it’s largely drinkable, and makes for a good session beer. LaChad (1375), San Francisco, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 4, 2007 Tap. Foamy offwhite head, hazy orange color. Interesting aroma of saltwater taffy, moderate malts, leather, sugar. I liked it at first but it became a little weird as I got a bit into it. Crisp, hoppy flavor with an unpleasantly acidic finish. I liked the nut brown better. realale420 (399), west covina, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 31, 2007 Bottle poured a clear copper/orange color with a nice thick white head. The aroma was sharp pine and citrus hops with a touch of caramel. Flavor was hoppy with a really dry finish. The malt was lost between the bitterness and the dryness. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 4, 2007 Bottle. Hazy dark amber color. Pine, citrus and hops are the main aromas found in this beer. The taste is a nice citrus (orange and grapefruit), pine, and hop flavor. The flavor comes out quite well in this and doesn’t leave a bad taste behind.
