"Surprised me. Poured a copper color with good head and good lacing. We sure this is a pale ale. Aroma was citrus and hops. Flavor much the same. Not bad at all. "

Pours clear with a good, off-white head with excellent staying power. It’s a bit sticky. Bigger maltiness than usual for the style as it could actually pass for a malty amber ale. Hoppiness is muted, but this is a balanced session beer.

Poured a deep copper-reddish color with a nice head. Lacing was good. Man, this was dark for a pale ale! The aroma was of citrus and pine hops with a bit of bittering and resinous hops also. The flavor was of strong resinous and bittering hops than anything else: citrus and some pine also, but not like a west coast PA. This was pretty bittered for an American Pale Ale, but shy of an IPA.

Bottle. Copper body with a small tan head. Nose is suitably hoppy with lots of citrus notes and pine needles. Light sweet malt notes as well. taste is hoppy and slightly spicy. Lots of citrus notes, pine notes, light caramel, and light earthy hops. Seems a bit one-sided towards the hop side of things but this would make a nice session beer. Body is medium with mild carbonation and a light lingering hop bitterness. Finishes with lots of hops but a more pronounced malt backbone. Light caramel, citrus fruits, pine needles, light melon and some toasty malty notes. Nice beer, overall!

A nice dark amber pour with a light tan head with nice lacing. An aroma of hops and slight malt. A slightly sweet caramelly flavor with a hoppy kicker. It had a slightly over carbonated mouthfeel and a nice lasting bitter. I tried it at the Cinny airport at the BBC restaurant. Way over priced but a tasty 20oz drinker.

bottle - Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a two finger, fluffy, enduring head that leaves lots of lacing. It looks great. There’s a nice pine hop aroma. The flavor has the expected hops kick of an APA and it’s well balanced. There’s not much else going on, but what’s there is good. The body is medium and the finish mildly bitter. This is a fine pale ale!

Excellent APA. Nice grapefruit flavor mixed with strong hop/malt presense. Very enjoyable beer. It would be nice if it were available in this area. I believe this is my first Kentucky beer. I really enjoyed it.

Aroma is light citrusy grapefruit. Color is copperish with a decent tan head. A grapefruit bitterness dominates throughout and finishes with a bitterness.
