| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Apr 8, 2006 Rich nose of pine and citrus, spice, caramel & flowers. This brew pours a hazy orange
amber. The off white creamy head is mostly lasting with a thin bubbly sheet of lace. The
brew is bitter through and through with a full hops blast, and a high citric acidity. The
finish is deep. The light to medium body is soft to lively and very dry. mnurda (434), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a light bronze color with a medium sized tan head. The aroma is sweet and has a strong citrus fruitiness. The flavor is moderately sweet an nutty with strong fruity hops - citrus and pine most noticeably. There is a dryer floral hop finish. A nice APA. HumuloneRed (750), Portland, Oregon, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 8, 2006 For starters... this is my daily drinker. If i’m buying a basic beer to drink and not really think about... i probally knock out 2 six-packs of this weekly. Not to mention that we have this on tap at the restaurant i work at... so it’s my nightly shift beer as well... Hence why i never got around to rating this.Pours medium golden with full frothy head. Aroma is blooming w/ hops. Honestly this beer is probaly a bit overly bitter... but i’ve grown a bit used to it. Hoppiness lingers in the mouth and begs me to drink more. tronraner (1934), Seymour, Tennessee, USA

The aroma is earthy hops, dirt, and grass. The flavor is generally bitter with grains and an unpleasant vegetal finish. The aftertaste is very grainy. Not one of my favorites.
