| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 26, 2008 Bottle states a "hoppy full-bodied American Pale Ale", well the bottle don’t lie. Poured a murky, unfiltered, thick orange/amber color. A dense, thick head rests on top leaving an abundant trail of lacing. The bottle conditioning is a nice touch. Green flowery hop aroma with a hint of citrus, overall the scent is rather subdued. Well balanced and very creamy. Full bodied with a sharp bitter aftertaste. Nutty caramel with a taste of fresh breads. Grassy, bitter hops that lend a touch of orange and grapefruit. Good brew allfreej (358), Louisville, Kentucky, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 24, 2008 Clear amber with no head. Light hop aroma with a touch of sweet malts. Taste is of caramel with a mild bitter hop finish. This us decently balanced with a malty backbone, but I noticed the malt tastes a little burnt. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 18, 2008 A nice and middle of the road APA. Nice aroma of earthy hops. Pour was a nice deep gold with a thin off film for a head. Taste was a little thin, but mostly earthy hops with a a hint of ashtray and caramel malt in the aftertaste. Not bad. garrison (455), Cin. city, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 13, 2008 From a 12 ouncer purchased at "Liquor Direct" in Covington, Kentucky - This one pours a golden brew with a faint piney aroma and a compact white head of foam. Tastewise, it’s a bit hops forward with a lack of body, and a bit overdone in the bitterness. However, since I’m an APA fan I’ll rank it up well enough (Moerlien’s OTR is much better, though). clingman71 (254), Centerville, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Draft @ downtown Louisville location. Pretty standard APA appearance and aroma. Flavor seemed just a little off to me. It either needed a little more malt backing or a little less bittering hops. It was slightly out of balance. It could also use more flavor and aroma hops as it was hoppy bitter without being hoppy flavorful. Not bad, but not great either. glkaiser (1171), Seattle, Washington, USA
