served at NYC Great World Beer Festival (A Brewtopian Event). poured dark black with medium tan head. Smells of roasted coffee. has a very buttery, oily, viscous mouthfeel. I couldn’t pick an adjective because they all seemed so appropriate. sweet, brown sugar and sweet malts (coffee, chocolate, a little caramel, toffee), roast, bready yeast, coffee flavoring. finishes sweet and dry.

Draft - some licorice in the aroma, along with some chocolate and the milk stout sweetness. My wife said it looked like used motor oil ... I agree! Black as night and only a few bubbles atop. No head at all. Flavor is chocolate and anise. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Very nice!

Dark brown with ruby hues. Aroma of sweet caramel with some toffee notes. Creamy texture with a lactose sweetness. Lots of crystal malts. Milky with subdued toasted malt.
