Bluegrass Cranberry Meade

Draft at Shelbyville Road brewpub. Poured reddish purple with an average white head that diminished slowly with minimal lacing. Small sweet raspberry honey aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Moderate sweet fruit flavor and finish with a moderate smooth finish. Interesting brew, not their best mead.

Pours dark reddish golden with a mostly receding off-white head. Aroma of honey, bubble gum and cranberry. Taste is sweet, dark honey, toffee, strawberry and cranberry. Mouthfeel is full bodied, lightly sticky with soft carbonation. The cranberry is fairly subdued. I still prefer their raspberry meade.
