Appearance is a cloudy yellow golden with a slightly lacing white head. Flavors and aromas are pale malt with a light dry mouth. There are some light bready tones too. Hops in this guy are missing a little. illinismitty (1790), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Jun 19, 2007 Draft at Flying Saucer Nashville. Pours amber with a white head. Nice perfumy, piney hop aroma. Initial flavor of caramel, toasted bread with a sharp hoppy middle, that brings out some citrus notes. Bitter and semi dry finish, that had a hint of soapiness that was a bit distracting. However, this has an aggressive bitterness and good malt backbone to counter it. Not to shabby. Tmoney99 (4656), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA May 27, 2007 Draft at Old Chicago, Lou, KY. Poured clear dark amber color with a moderate frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium citrus bitter and a medium smooth bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer. alexsdad06 (1056), Ohio, USA May 6, 2007 Updated: May 7, 2007Cask @ The Pub at Rookwood Mews. Pours amber in color with a small white mostly lasting head. Aroma is typical od an IPA, very hoppy with some malt undertones. Flavor has all the hop bitterness; I get some citrus and a little pine. This is combined with a malt presence just strong enough to offset the hops a bit. Slightly unbalanced, but good. Medium mouthfeel. The fact that it came from a cask probably smoothed this one out a bit. BeerandBlues2 (3201), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Apr 29, 2007 Draught at Flying Saucer - Nashville. Pours copper with a small frothy white head, good lace, and somewhat lasting head. Aroma is average malt (caramel, bread), heavy hop (flower, perfume, pine), average yeast (sweat) with notes of apple. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation and a bitter finish. Light sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness; bitter hop perfume and citrus flavor. wheninhell (485), louisville, Kentucky, USA Apr 10, 2007 cask Rich O’s Gravity Head 2007. clear dark golden with a white head. nice IPA aroma. citrus pine lots of hops with nice caramel malt undertones. good balance. flavor very very dry.....like damn i need a drink of water after that kinda dry. very interesting probably the driest beer i have ever had. nice sweet caramel malt flavor balancing out loads of citrus and piney hops.
