Kevin (1917), Colorado, USA Dec 12, 2005 tap.dark copper pour. reminded me a bit of anchor osa, spiced nose, a bit too much lavender like taste to it. biscuity and chalky. does not sit well with me. seemed a bit hollow. it was hard for me to put words to this. because it is not a bad beer, i just do not like it. my cousin loved it though. TAR (2087), Boulder Co., Colorado, USA Oct 29, 2001 Updated: Oct 3, 2003Draft: Not a bad Christmas ale. A bit on the trendy side with all the spices. Nutmeg and ginger? Orange flavors as well, light body, copper color, and little alcohol for a winter beer. Soft as well. Only on draft in the fall and winter months.
