Pours a hazy, orange-copper body with a lasting ring of beige head. Aromas of yeast and caramelized malts. Flavor is caramel, yeast, malt. Finish is malty with a little black tea. Decent body.

Pours dark red-brown with white head, opaque. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, raisins, and dark fruit. Flavor is caramel and raisins...not very strong, kind of watery. Medium sticky mouthfeel. Overall...its kind of boring...the aroma got me excited...but from there on it was a let-down.

12oz bottle. Pours clear amber with a thin tan head. Aroma of caramel malt and yeast. I taste sweet and caramel malts on the front end with yeast and a bit of hops in the finish.

On draught at Flying Saucer in Nashville. Poured a hazy amber color with a paper thin, off white head. More like a layer of scum actually. The aroma was sweet malt, yeast and earthy hop notes. The flavor was caramel malt with sugars and bread. An earthy finish that wasn’t as much bitter as maybe stale-ish. This was a try it once and move on beer.

Cloudy amber/brown body with a filmy, swirling head and spider web looking lacing. Mild yeasty aroma with a sugary sweet smell. Light bodied, thinner than I expected. Doughy malt and candy sugar flavors with a mild fruitiness.

(Rating #2197)

Clear orangish brown. Sweet aroma. Bitter strongalky taste impact. Yes, feels like a 7.5%. Leather or rope in there too. Mild creamy like carbonation between the tongue and roof of mouth. Finish is evolving, goes from a medium sharp linger into a mild acceptable dullness.
