| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 22, 2009 From a 20003 keg at Sergio’s in Louisville (sorry, almost gone!): Aroma of white grape, honey comb and coriander. Appearance was nearly opaque gold with patchy head. Flavor matched the nose pretty well, but with some brandied fruit in the finish. Palate was very lively. Pretty good stuff, especially for a BBC "Belgian Style" offering. yobdoog (1509), Woodridge NY, New York, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 12, 2009 My Bottom Line:
Fat honeyed cereals and fruity edges end up in shallow wooden hop bitterness in this liquorous Tripel.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the hazy orange blond.
-This is obviously underattenuated for my tastes in the style.
-Alcohol warmth make the mouthfeel feel even heavier.
-This remains a pleasant sipper, but it is far from standing out in its category.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 30, 2009 For starters, you do not want to have to say the name of this beer if you’ve had a bottle or two. The beer is quite nice though, and thankfully shared with my brother. The beer pours out a light amber color, streams of carbonation forming from the bottom with a super large 4" thick head. Aroma is quite fruity, apricots and pears being mostly dominant, some light floral notes and alcohol wafting up too. Sweet on the palate, with more light fruits coming on strong, alcohol is also prevalent. Lemon cookies around mid-palate after awhile. Decent beer. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 29, 2009 Pours hazy dark brown. Medium-light body and carbonation. Sweet, but sort of murky toffee nut taste. Doesn’t seem entirely on style. Not too bad, just not what I was expecting. Lagunitasfan (478), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 9, 2009 T3 tasting. A bottle I got in trade from Acknud. Thanks a bunch for this. There was zero release when the cap was popped, so I was a bit worried, especially with eight bodies around the table. Hazy peach in color, and no head at all. Nose is creamy. Melon and pineapple. Taste is citrus with a light bitterness.
