Dec 18, 2009 Bottled. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, chocolate, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and chocolate, leading to a dry and roasted finish. Nice. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Oct 23, 2008 12 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a small amber hue and a little lacing tan head. Light roasted and malty aroma. Mild roasted and dense fruity hopp base flavour with a light bitterness. Light spiced and malty finish.

Mar 15, 2008 (Bottle) Pours a dark brown body with a small tan head. Interesting aroma of hatch green chilies, freshly fried corn tortillas, light roastiness, cocoa, bubble gum, some pesticide, overly ripen citrus, and light tobacco. Flavor of roasted malt, vegetable (most green pepper), caramel, nuts, and dry cocoa. Mouthfeel and flavor is a bit on the thin side for an Imperial Stout.

May 26, 2008 12oz bottle-pours a light brown head and motor oil black color. Aroma is dark malt-licorice/molasses, some dark fruit. Taste is dark malt-licorice/molasses, some dark fruit, faint hops, slight alcohol. Nicely done, not overbearing. Occasional.
