| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Bottle. Clear amber body with a bubbly off-white head that diminishes quickly. Hoppy nose has notes of toffee, grapefruit, pine and orange. Flavour is similar but more malty, at first, with pronounced hop bitterness coming after. This is a very good Australian APA, one of a few that are currently available. bluevegie (2217), Perth, Australia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 24, 2009 Brilliant amber gold body with a mainly lasting head. The aroma was sweet, malty and then some passionfruit notes. Taste is very much similar, needs a bit more body and/or bitterness. Drinkable. Dredd (496), Ormond, Australia
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 20, 2009 Nice floral aroma, pour is a good amber colour with lasting head. Flavour is a nice sweet maltiness upfront that finishes with a balanced hop finish. Based on the label I was expecting something perhaps a bit more rough and bitter than this polished effort. Nice stuff. hawthorne00 (130), Australia

Prominent caramel malt. Somewhat cloying fruitiness. Surprisingly gentle hops given the nose. davidm (186), Melbourne, Australia

Flavour is long-lasting, and gently bitter. Velvety in the palate. Orange colour, with a fizzy white head. eczematic (1198), Sydney, Australia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 25, 2009 enjoyed this. similar to murrays nirvana, biscuitty malty without too much crystal, clean and fruity/tangy nz hops. bitter enough, but some way short of being the hop monster their marketing would have you believe. yet another contract brewed apa, but this one’s better than most. nate2g (1121), Brisbane, Australia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 9, 2009 Bottle. Unfortunately I lost half the beer over the bench once I opened the bottle. I poured what was left into a Fin Du Monde chalice. Appeared clear amber with a medium white head. Nice biscuity malt aroma with citrus and grassy notes. The flavour is biscuit malt, caramel and fruit. The similarities are there with other Aussie brewed APA’s but this one I found a touch thin on the palate and a light bitter finish. An OK APA. bluebetty (133), Australia
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 4, 2009 Nice golden amber colour with small white head which disappeared pretty quickly. Nice cirus / pine hop aromas. Flavour is more of the same with some malt sweetness. Overall noicely balance though a little thin.
