Commercial Description:
Is the Munich Black, a beer created in 1888 following the ancient Munich tradition. It is distinguished by its intense toasted flavour with a sligthly sweet final touch, an equilibrated beer without the excessive bitterness that other beers of its category have.

Dark brown. Thin and sweet, rather tasteless. This is most certainly not a bock.

(Can 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Pours a pretty, clear reddish brown with a light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt. Light-bodied with roasted malt, a little vanilla and an edge of cardboard. Lightly bitter finish. 130608

33 cL bottle. Pours clear, dark brown with a redish glare and a slowly collapsing tan head. Vague aroma of roasted malt. Flavour is medium dry mal with a light toasted note towards breadish. Light bitterness coming out of the toasted caramel malt flavours towards the finish. Shows a light alcohol presence too. Lacks both aroma, body and more flavour to be really good.

Can
Mahogany color. Too simple malty aroma, sweetish. Quite sweet taste with a lot of caramel, not strong bitterness. Easy.
