Lubiere (3324), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Sep 2, 2008 A clear dark reddish brown lager with a thick frothy light moka head, collapsing quickly. A light caramelly and biscuitty malt. In mouth, a nuttier and more biscuitty version of Voll Damm, with treacle, and light metallic hops. Overall, a very honest schwarzbier. Tasted mid Nov. 2006. jmm1 (107), Andorra Dec 14, 2007 Draught. Brown clear body with a light beige foamy head. Light roasted malts in the nose, with some caramels. Sweet caramels at first approach in mouth, with some coffee and hint of chocolate. Medium-high carbonation with a thin body makes it quite refreshing without losing flavors. A nice beer that goes well with some good tapas, still lacks some aromas.
