Draught@GBBF 09’. Pretty nice, but very down the middle of the tongue, lemony acidity/sourness, with no complexity to it. Sour, but that’s about it. Pretty decent though.

Nov 28, 2009 The clouded yellow colour preempts the huge lemony aroma which is cut with a dry woodiness. It lacks any carbonation whatsoever, which is a shame as I believe with would add a touch more delicacy to it. Without it it seems to sit a little heavy on the tongue.

Strong pungent aroma. Golden coloured a little hazy in appearance and very sour with a crisp and slightly dry lasting finish.

Really bright yellow gold colour. Massive tart and fruity jong lambic style stuff. In fact it’s like a blend of a Berlinner Weiss, an excellent blond and a superb jong lambic. So fruity, tart and refreshing. Bloody hell. Was not expecting this to be so good. Absolutely blown away.

Sep 14, 2009 Sampled at brewery - (along with an amazing blend of 80% old and 20% young). Thought this was amazing - wonderfully sour and acidic in just the way I love. Wish that this was more widely available and told the brewer and owner just that.

Sep 6, 2009 RB# 11111: From tap at Grand Place as Cuvee de Jacobins. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a thick white head. Smooth acetone and fruity barnyard aroma. Bitter, citric and solid phenolic to acetone flavoured. Citric and dry finish. Lasting citric really.
