Draught@GBBF 09’. Pretty nice, but very down the middle of the tongue, lemony acidity/sourness, with no complexity to it. Sour, but that’s about it. Pretty decent though.

The clouded yellow colour preempts the huge lemony aroma which is cut with a dry woodiness. It lacks any carbonation whatsoever, which is a shame as I believe with would add a touch more delicacy to it. Without it it seems to sit a little heavy on the tongue.

Cask@GBBF 2009. Shitty aroma. Dry but light and drinkable with a pleasant citrus ting. Refreshing summer drink.

A Mes rate. Draught at GBBF.
Really bright yellow gold colour. Massive tart and fruity jong lambic style stuff. In fact it’s like a blend of a Berlinner Weiss, an excellent blond and a superb jong lambic. So fruity, tart and refreshing. Bloody hell. Was not expecting this to be so good. Absolutely blown away.

At GBBF 2009. Now that is proper sour. Great full on sourness. Bit of vinegar, but proper sour. Excellent. Salt and vinegar crisps on the flavour.

Sampled at brewery - (along with an amazing blend of 80% old and 20% young). Thought this was amazing - wonderfully sour and acidic in just the way I love. Wish that this was more widely available and told the brewer and owner just that.

RB# 11111: From tap at Grand Place as Cuvee de Jacobins. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a thick white head. Smooth acetone and fruity barnyard aroma. Bitter, citric and solid phenolic to acetone flavoured. Citric and dry finish. Lasting citric really.
