Papsoe (10498), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 14, 2005 Updated: Jul 2, 2005(Bottle 25 cl) Normal pilsener golden colour, decent gead, Nice balance between hops and malt sweetness. Not that different from a Danish standard pils. This entry should be titled "Bockor Pils". 070205 oh6gdx (6339), Vaasa, Finland Apr 17, 2008 Draught. Pale golden colour, mediumsized white creamy head. Grainy egg vegetable mix with some hints of yeast in the aroma. Flavour is saltwater, malts, grain and cooked vegetables. Golden color, small white head. Buttery, papery hoppy aroma. Grainy, sweet rice-malty flavor, light grassy hops. Watery backbone. bierkoning (4933), La Tropica, Netherlands Aug 24, 2008 Bottle. Grainy aroma and flavor with apple. Almost medium bodied. Boring Belgian pilsener. JorisPPattyn (4500), Antwerpen, Belgium Jun 22, 2006 Clear golden beer; yellowish, fine & dense head, leaving some lace. Vanilla aroma through a gassy nose, further pale malts, vaguely spicey. Quite bitterish, hops at first - but not very noble ones, turning flat & metallic. Ends dull sweet, even if dryish. Slightly burning MF, bit slimy sensation. Very average pilsner.
