| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Feb 11, 2009 Great clarity and full cascading creamy head. Velvet smooth carbonation is one of the best around. Solid nose of bready grains and light fruit tones. Flavor is light malts, moderate English hop bitterness and flavor, and very subtle esters. Prototype for the style, world class session bitter, super-drinkable! jefe026 (37), USA

Pours dark gold with a thick creamy guinness- likke head. Aroma is musty. Taste is pasty, paper napkin dry bitterness in the finish. Some sweetness in the taste.

| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 5/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Feb 7, 2009 Beautiful looking beer, but a huge dissapointment. From can, perhaps that accounts for the metallic taste. I’ve heard great things about about Boddingtons from a fellow beer geek from work, but he gets his on tap. Perhaps this was old stock, I will have to try the tap version to verify, but this beer misses the mark with me. fonefan (11888), VestJylland, Denmark
