Oct 22, 2008 This beer looks like it’ll be absolutley incredible. Pour is creamy, bright gold that settles to a clear bright gold...nice thick white head. But then it (the beer) just falls apart. Aroma is almost nothingness, flavor is the same and the palate just is boring. My dad loves this beer and I can’t stand to drink it...

Oct 20, 2008 Draft. Light amber/golden body with a short, white head. Mild aroma that presents notes of grain and flowers. The flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. the finish remains lightly bitter. Taste of raw grain. A bit of astringency. Light body with a watery texture. Very light carbonation.

Oct 20, 2008 Can. Copper, creamy pale head. Little gluey, toffee nose, mild dry fuits. Flavor is light rummy fruits, rusty malts, little alcohol even. Quite stuffy. Light to medium bodied, nitro can palate. Boring and bland.

Oct 18, 2008 Golden color with a frothy head. A one dimensional, vaguely bitter, metalic flavor with a creamy mouthfeel. This is only really good if you’re an anglophile, and as such there are still better alternatives in Fullers and Sam Smiths.

Oct 10, 2008 Golden clear color, with an excellent head that stays all the way, taste has a slight metallic aftertaste, bitter and bit creamy. Not my favorite but not at all bad.

Oct 8, 2008 On tap (increasingly available in my area). Light head that laces a little with extremely clear complexion. Aroma is very subtle with hints of honey and slate. Taste is smooth and creamy with little bitterness. Finish is lightly sweet and clean with satisfying hints of malt. A new standby for me whenever it is available due to excellent drinkability.

Oct 6, 2008 Pint can compliments of my father’s grocery store excursion. Have had before, but never rated. Pours a nice golden hue, no real haze, with a very pretty creamy bubbled head that sticks around through the entirety and laces a little. Aromas muted, a little bit of vague sweetness. Taste is similar, special for its initial smoothness, creamy head, and light fruity sweetness. A bit of bittering hop close to the finish, but largely smooth and clean. No adjunct. Very nice.
