It rules over the land of ale with an iron fist. To question it’s taste and flavor is to question your manlihood itself. changeup45 (802), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 10, 2008 Pours a golden color with a very thick, creamy head. Almost out of control. Fairly smooth and creamy with sweet malts and leaves somewhat of a bitter taste. Good beer, for a while it was a regular of mine. At $5 for 4 pint size cans, it comes at a decent price too. Poured a honeyed orange-brown with a dense; creamy, white head which was fully lasting. Aroma was of sweet biscuity malts with mild notes of earthy hops, sweet honey and some butterscotch. Flavor was smooth with a light hop bitterness (earthy), sweet caramel malts, honey and a slight metallic finish. Light bodied with traditional still carbonation, an extra creamy; slightly dry mouthfeel, watery texture and an ok finish. A good session beer. BeerFanDan17 (628), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
