I opened my first can of this stuff at the same time I opened a bud for the wife. I took one sip and tried to get her to swap beers. She took a sip and said it tasted like water. I took a sip of her Bud to confirm that it really was less flavorful than the Bud! The mouth feel is nil. Pathetic - unfortunate cuz I would like to find a decent beer in a can.

First thing I noticed about this beer was the ridiculous head and lacing it left on the glass, I wasn’t expecting it. Dark goldish color, looks kind of gross actually. Not much carbonation, consistency reminded me of a stout, but not nearly as heavy or malty as Guinness, for example. Slightly bitter flavor. Serve very cold. I would have this beer again.

Pint can with a widget. Bitter my ass. Creamy. Medium bodied. Minimal carbonation. Grainy aroma with a hint of sweet malt and grassy hops. Light toasted malt. Herbal hops. Finishes dry.

Wow what an awesome head it was. Smooth as hell. Great lacing. Wonder why such low ratings. Would buy again

On tap at Derrick Tavern. Pours a light amber color with a rather large creamy head. The aroma is very malty with caramel and honey. Good lacing on the glass. The taste is caramel with a bitter dry finish. I enjoyed this one.

Quickly becoming one of my "go to" beers- great creaminess & head. Grab one from the tap where available. The "pub can" offers a nice pour that holds up as well. Great if you like Guiness texture, but a lighter fare.

Easily available and goes down very smooth. Not aggressive, and reminds me of chocolate for some reason. Pours a dark golden with a healthy white head. Definitely a repeat purchase for me -- considering the availability and price, this is a great beer.

I found this ale to be very disappointing. Color was quite dull, average head. Taste was biting at first with a finish that was far less that appealing. All in all, not an ale that I could recommend.
