Amber, after the effect of the widget no carbonation left, but the 2 centimeters of creamy head seems to linger on.
A bit strawberries, a bit flowers, but everything seems to be in a extreme homeopathic solution - quite watery.
Mouthfeel is somewhat creamy and there is a very slight flowery aftertaste Ungstrup (15376), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 12, 2003 It has a sweet malty creamy aroma with notes of oranges and a little sourness. The color is orange and it has a fine foamy head. The flavor is a creamy malty one, with a note of oranges, in the end it turns a little bitter. A very drinkable and refreshing beer - but not bitter enough for a bitter. rauchbier (3002), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England

Low malt aroma with some fruitiness, sweet malt and soft fruit in the mouth with a slight hop flavour and a dry, sharp hoppy bitterness in the finish.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 7, 2003 Similar to many "mainstream" bitters, nothing outstanding. Boddingtons was the drink that launched my drinking career, mainly because it was smooth and went down easily. Maybe a good choice for the Stella drinker looking to further their taste, but so many better beers I'm lost as to it's popularity. YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany

Goes down smoothly. Nice after a beach day at the algarve in Portugal. imdownthepub (5171), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England

Mass brewing gone mad. I think I'm going to be sick WISEGUY572 (1246), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 11, 2003 I had this draft. A good looking cloudy pale ale, with a huge creamy head that looked like it came not from a tap but a widget can. Too little of everything ... too little malt flavor, too little floral hop, too little bitterness. A long bitter finish that is unbalanced, given how little flavor the beer has. madsberg (5050), Sĝborg, Denmark
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 4, 2003 Canned with nitro: Has a somewhat hazy yellow colour. Has a huge creamy head, that last till the glass is empty. Aroma has some fruity notes and is slightly hoppy. The flavour is a little too vague and waterish for me. Not much body. Has some bitterness on the palate, but I would expect some more from a beer of this style.
