Famous beer that has an undeserved good reputation. The beer is smooth on the mouth however it has a chemically induced nose with some cream and the taste is artificially sweet.

A Mes rate: Can that Morris forced down me on Christmas day..
Clean dark gold with a frothy white head and lots of lace. Full of chems it may be but it still looks ok. Creamy sweet vanilla aroma with some light hops. Similar flavour with a sweet malty finish. One of those beers where you wonder why you are bothering really. "Pasturised and artificially carbonated for keg and can" now how gorgeous does that sound. Come on you know you want some.

Painfully chilled pint in one of those chain pub places. Think we were killing time before a film. Bright amber topped with Gilette. Politely doughy. Almost some hints of soporific, watery apple, wood, metal, honey. Malt and nitrogen-driven, artificial, almost completely flavourless..but somehow not as offensive as it should be. I might have enjoyed it, but I’m admitting nothing.

I like it. I drink it when im hangovered, it sorts us out in a nice way as it barely has any alcohol in it. Best thing about it is that nice thick creamy head, very smooth and refreshing. Never have it in a pub, tastes like water, have it in a can where you can.

Had this after getting a good deal at Sainsbury. I’m still pondering whether it was worth the 50p I paid for it. Not much of an aroma to speak of. Flavours of hops, fruit, and slight malt. Finish is overly bitter. Overall very dissapointing.

Date: 23/11/2005 Location: Premier Travel Inn near Pudsey, Leeds Notes: Boring, bland, gassy, and generally unremarkable. Some flavour and aroma, with no real unpleasantness. It was all they had at the Inn! Tastes just the same in NZ.

O dear, another bland beer ’made’ by Interbrew. Typically weak, tastless keg bitter with artificially creamy head. Can’t they do better than this.

Summer day beer, cos it goes down like caramelly, pleasantly bitter water with a creamy head. Pleasant enough ’smooth’ can, perfect for a hot afternoon in the shade.
