Taste was subdued and thin, some hops again with, as noted below, a metallic finish. Seriously bland. oh6gdx (8839), Vasa, Finland

Pale amber color, creamy off-white head. Sweet, caramelly grassy hoppy aroma. Metallic and nutty flavor and creamy thin mouthfeel. Typical watery nitro/widget ale. Not recommended, not for sauna, not for "sessions". thingfish (7), USA does not count | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 3, 2007 Let’s see...I first discovered this brew on tap in Dunstable U.K....I was blown away!!! A lighter colored beer that could hold it’s own with the mighty stout! But...after finding it canned in the states I was really let down! My rating it biased...I combined the two experiences! If you are ever in the U.K. Do everything you can to find this beer! In the states....look elsewhere! minky (7), Swansea, Wales does not count | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 25, 2007 This beer can go from excellent, to undrinkable, depending where you drink it. A good pint is used to be found in Manchester, but like many other beers, brewed elsewhere now. The smell isn’t the best, but taste makes up for this. Good ale, tasty beer, fairly smooth. Not too fussed on the cans, other beers taste better in cans. garthicus (1289), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Will drink it again Gaffney (22), St Andrews, Scotland

Adumbrations of pear and honey, with an unpresumptuous light medium finish. An enjoyable compliment with spicy bangers and mash.
