Had on draft in Manchester UK (2004) Great session brew. Guinesses’ whiter cousin. Nitro. Smooth and easy as she goes.

Reddish golden amber with creamy white head Bitter leaf like smell. Taste sour but very pleasant fruit like bananas. Very dry finish.

This was my fist and only bitter that was sampled while in the UK... I was not too fond of this beer (mabye I am not used to bbitters) funky sour taste mixed with wate, but nice fluffy white head that remained throught, I did not even finish this beer.

440 ml can. Brown vivid body, foamy thick head. Plain pilsner malt aroma. Flat, watery mouthfeel, light bitter uninteresting flavour.

Aroma isn’t aplenty in this beer. Some malts, with some sulphur here too. Settles to a nice amber colour with white head. Taste is simple and bitter, malty. Very dry finish, long and bitter. Easy drinker. Session.

Nitro tap at Claddaugh. Gold pour with decent white head. This one slides down very nicely. Light body, but I wouldn’t call it watery. Not much in the way of aroma. A bit of bitter, but a lot more creamy honey sweetness. Buddy of mine who really doesn’t like beer liked this. In that sense it is inoffensive. I won’t be hunting this down, but this might just make my next cheap session.

I prefeered the one in Cask, this was a little squashy and nasty in flavor so far, not really to drink the whole bottle.
