CheersBabe (57), USA Aug 30, 2007 a decent ale for what you can find in america. the major complaint is the metalic aftertaste, but it does have a great head. worth the price
MoritzF (4010), Ruhrpott, Germany Nov 3, 2008 (50cl can with 44cl content) Clear, light-amber colour with a creamy white layer. Slightly sweet and toasted malty nose with subtle fruity notes. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied with a flat nitro mf. Pretty one-dimensional malt-accented taste with a faint fruity touch; dry and slightly bitter hoppy finish with a tinge of lemon. Not that bad, just a bit plain (27.X.08). emmakingafc (6), , Illinois, USA does not count Oct 31, 2008 Not to be confused with the widget.. this beer is a smooth yet clean beer with a strong hop but low alcohol by English Standards Bullit (615), Glasgow, Scotland Oct 5, 2008 Dark golden colour, medium white head. Aroma has fruity hops. Flavour has fruity hops and sweet malts. Some bitterness. Lots of carbonation. Average. wheresthepath (269), Buckinghamshire, England Sep 18, 2008 [Nitrokeg at the LV Lounge, George Hotel, Reading] c5 Pours a dark, dirty gold with a moderate, lasting creamy white head. There is a slight carbonation, and the mouthfeel is a lot less smooth than other nitro/smooth ales. Initial taste is metallic, but eventually some sweet malt comes through, with a sort of rough-and-ready flavour that feels slight more genuine than your average macro ale. Overall impression is a beer that is weak, watery and metallic. Worse than I remember. jaghana (21), Strasbourg, France Aug 12, 2008 Very pleasant, creamy, nice ale.
Also the only one to be easily found in France.
