(As Santa Bee) Dark brown colored with slight red hints, little yellow head. Aroma is rich with some vinous touch, some cherry sourness, peppery spices, nice licorice and plum too, good and complex aroma. Medium to full bodied, carbonated palate. Flavor is more plummy with licorice still, thin roastiness and vinous note also here. Aftertaste has mild alcohol. I like this beer, not very normal but well developed.

Bottle, 33 cl as "Santa Bee". A brwon bear with a beautiful thick, creamy, lacing white head that lasts. The aroma is spicy and malty, also some alcohol notes (Christmas beer with extra alcohol). Taste is suprisingly well, a lovely malty taste, with some caramelised sugars on the background, flavoured with spices and finishing dry with a hoppy, light bitter finish. Not sweet at all, which is the most surprising fact for a Christmas Beer. Not the best beer, certaintly not, but a very decent beer!

This dark brown beer poured with a lovely beige head and an anise aroma. There is a hearty roasted malt flavor with lots of spices and a slightly harsh bitter finish.

Bottle at De Kelk (as Santa Bee). Pours very dark with floaties and a huge, lacing, creamy off-white head. Aroma reminds of Xmas greenery. Medium plus body with very creamy carbonation. Flavor is dark malt, with touches of spruce and floral hop. Fairly complicated. Finishes towards dry with a touch of heat. Enjoyed this.

330ml bottle (Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam)
Beautiful reddy brown, with a creamy off-white self-sustaining head. Spicy aroma - a touch of clove, but some alcohol pokes up too. Pleasant carbonation, full soft palate. Quite an earthy barky taste at first, with some spicy cloves and big nutmeg too (if anything - there’s egg nog), but the alcohol rises up through the nose too. Big herby or grassy hoppy bite too. Finish is back to the earthiness, and the biting hops. Not quite in perfect balance, but certainly fairly tasty.

(33cl bottle, as Santa Bee) Hazy, deep amber colour with a huge off-white foamy head. Sweet cara-malty and distinctively fruity aroma with notes of redcurrant. Surprisingly burnt bitter flavour, also minimal tart with a light to moderate malty sweetness, medium to full bodied with a rather soft carbonation. Toasty and fruity taste with notes of caramel and licorice; the sweetness gets stronger towards the vinous-fruity and light alcoholic finish. The components do not fit very well together but it works for me anyway (02.VI.09).

Hazy brown with a medium off white head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel notes. Falvour was sourish with malty and overripe fruits. Finished sourish. Clearly infected.
