| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 5, 2009 (Bottled, BBE2011) Hazy golden-orange with a medium, foamy and quickly descending head. Aroma is very lime-lemony-spicy with some pale maltiness and wheaty notes. Flavor is pale-malty and sweetish-fruity, with wheaty-sourish notes, lime, spices, and some grassy hops. Medium body, slightly foamy but reasonably soft carbonation. I liked the malt profile, it reminded me a bit of Triple Karmeliet. Too much has been poured in from the spice rack, though, making the beer somewhat dish-washing-liquidy. Should be listed as Tripel here, IMO. thebeertourist (2845), Oslo, Norway
