Bottled (at Chriso, BBE 2011, bottle from GBBF). As "Tripel Klok". Hazy yellow color, small white head. Citrusy, coriander aroma in the nose. A bit sour, mango fruity, some yeast, cardboard. Kind of unbalanced mix of spices, sour notes and sweetness.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy orange-golden with a small white head and an aroma of spices, hops, orange and yeast. The flavour is sweet and syruppy, with lots of fruits, yeast, pepper, hops and sweet malts. Spicy-hoppy finish, nice one!

A Sim rate. Draught at ZBF.
Sweet, malty aroma with nutmeg and some citric fruit. The lace is stunning with a head that lasts and a murky orange / brown colour. All the grains are accounted for in this typical Belgian tripel flavour. It’s very malty, with some spice that kicks your palate into gear. Syrupy palate but not too thick. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It’s one of the better Boelens.

Haxy, yellow to orange body. White, creamy head. Aroma of oranges, hops and a bit yeast. Quite a lot of carbonation. Nice, but not perfectly balanced.
