| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 5, 2009 A Sim rate. Draught at ZBF. Sweet, malty aroma with nutmeg and some citric fruit. The lace is stunning with a head that lasts and a murky orange / brown colour. All the grains are accounted for in this typical Belgian tripel flavour. It’s very malty, with some spice that kicks your palate into gear. Syrupy palate but not too thick. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It’s one of the better Boelens. altonbrownd (1962), Amsterdam, Netherlands
