Sampled at Zythos 2009. Hazy gold colour. Belgian yeast ester aroma. It’s a fairly tasty blond with some decent hops on the finish. OK

Draught at ZBF09. Weak spicy aroma, hint of coriander. Cloudy dark yellow colour. Nice big stable creamy white head. The flavour is mildly spicy, mostly clove. Hint of pepper in the finish. Quite clean for a tripel, but slightly anonymous.

Draught @ Zythos march 7th 2009. Intense yellow coloured beer with a nice sturdy head. Fresh and a slight mint sensation. Not too dry, just off-sweet. Fine bitters at taste and afterwards. P.s. I had Boelens Tripel Klok, but that one is not rateable here.

Draught at Zythos, St Niklaas, Belgium, 08-03-09 Pours a murky dark urine colour (sorry but that was my first thought) with a decent white head. I believe that this was passed on from Ian, cheers mate. Musty hoppy aroma. Tingly bitterness is ever present, sweet maltiness, soft in mouth, quite good stuff. A6 A2 F7 P4 OV14 3.3

Draught@Zythos 2009. A hazy ggolden colored beer, with a thick foamy white head. The aroma of hoips with fruits like citrus. The taste of hop bitters, a little dry. It’s fruity with herbs. A little sour. The aftertaste is sweet with bitters.

Tap @ ZBF 2009.
Pours hazy yellow with a nice, off-white head that leaves good lacings. Aroma is sweet, some apples and honey, but still has a bit of fruity tartness to it. High carbonation, fine mouuthfeel. Flavour is sweet, and at the other Boelens I had at ZBF (Pa-gijs), it feels a bit too sugary. There is only some slight notes of green apple to take me away from the sweetness.

Tap at ZBF 2009. Golden hazy decent Tripel from this good brewery. Some fruity hints and some hoppy finish.
