Fresh and a slight mint sensation. Not too dry, just off-sweet. Fine bitters at taste and afterwards. P.s. I had Boelens Tripel Klok, but that one is not rateable here. I believe that this was passed on from Ian, cheers mate. Musty hoppy aroma. Tingly bitterness is ever present, sweet maltiness, soft in mouth, quite good stuff. Pours hazy yellow with a nice, off-white head that leaves good lacings. Aroma is sweet, some apples and honey, but still has a bit of fruity tartness to it. High carbonation, fine mouuthfeel. Flavour is sweet, and at the other Boelens I had at ZBF (Pa-gijs), it feels a bit too sugary. There is only some slight notes of green apple to take me away from the sweetness. goozen (1102), Leiden, Netherlands
