Fresh and a slight mint sensation. Not too dry, just off-sweet. Fine bitters at taste and afterwards. P.s. I had Boelens Tripel Klok, but that one is not rateable here. The lace is stunning with a head that lasts and a murky orange / brown colour. All the grains are accounted for in this typical Belgian tripel flavour. It’s very malty, with some spice that kicks your palate into gear. Syrupy palate but not too thick. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It’s one of the better Boelens. yespr (12426), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Has some honeyish sweet notes with an underlying spicyness. But very soft and harmonious with some late hops to balance things out. Another full-bodied and delicate Boelens ale - bought at the brewery. 100498 TrefwoordPunk (556), Leiden, Netherlands
