Bottle. Blond beer, white head. Aroma of fruits, alcohol, malts. Flavour is sweet, fruity, malty, alcohol bitter and slightly hoppy, bit yeasty.

Flip-top bottle pours orange amber with disappearing lacy head. Sweet, malty aroma with an herbal element that is probably coriander. Flavor is very sweet, a little spicy, with a simple bitterness that doesn’t quite do enough to balance the sweetness. Bit of alcohol shows through. Bittersweet aftertaste.

Bottle, 330ml swing top, at t’Velootje, Ghent. Clouded gold with carbonated head, floating yeast. Quite a sweet beer but with reasonable hop presence, with a little late bitteing. A little perfumed, polish sharpness on the tongue. it’s ok without getting special.

330ml swing top bottle from Beers of Europe. Opens with a vivid pop, but beer doesn’t foam over (kept chilled in the fridge). Head roars up in the glass but then settles into attractive penicillin clumps. Mousy carbonation, not too aggressive. Yeasty flavours - very Belgian in that regard. The most flavour initially comes from the yeast, then the hops - a straight hop bitterness - European, bittering hops. Some biscuity malt gradually emerges. This is a typical dry, slightly chalky tripel. There’s a faint dried pineapple fruit flavour lingering around. An awareness of alcohol. An OK tripel - fairly standard.

A Mes rate: Bottle from Kris Wines.
Hazy gold with a decent white head and some lace. Lovely aroma that is very Belgian. Spice, yeast, good hops and a stunning note of Germoline and band aid. The flavour is fruity as hell and very tangy and sweet. Rather sharp in the finish. Decent stuff.

A golden cloudy beer. Some hoppy spices in the nose. Quite foaming beer. Hops and spices are well balanced. Also some hints of pear.

A hazy dark yellow colored beer, with a big white creamy head. It has a very strong malty aroma, with some spices , like coriander and honey. The taste is nice spicey, sweet, with some bitterness whitch stays for awhile. A fruity refreshing good beer.
