Irregular, collapsing white head over foggy apricot beer. Nose has varnished tabletop, noble hops, pepper, cod liver oil capsules (plastic coating), vomit, grapefruit at a push. Mouth earthy with hops and yeast, sprinkled with pine needles, nectarine and citrus-like fruit, finishing with a lingering soapy (hop) bitterness. Alcohol there, but not overly apparent. Quite a hopped-up, unsugary ale at the abv, slipping down nicely.

Bottled at Monks Café, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy pale amber colour with a rich lively white foam. Yeasty aroma with solid notes of crackers, mandarin and cookies with touches of leafy hops and and candid sugar. Full and firm body with notes of of oranges, cookies, nectarines, herbs, white bread, vanilla and mild pepper. Long well-balanced finish of of cookies, mandarin, mild pepper and orangey hops. Bold, yet elegant. Me like!

Bottle, 33cl swing top. Pours a clear, except for floaties, golden body with a small, white head. There’s lots of sediments in the bottle. Sweetness, citrus, tea and spices in the aroma, quite lovely. In the mouth there’s warming alcohol, sugary sweetness, pale malt, hops and some grains, and it finishes with pale malt and citrusy hops. Full, warming mouthfeel. Better than it’s brother, but not much. (080112)

Bottle. Thanks to Fonefan. Pours unclear orange with a great white head that leaves some handsome lacings. Aroma is yeasty & fruity. Exotic fruits/citrus, a bit of alcohol & yeast dominates the taste which is a bit dusty malty. Soft, smooth & filling body. Warmth from alcohol. Sticky/oily palate. Very drinkable strong Belgium!

Bottle 33 cl. Huge creamy white lasting head. Orange cloudy body with small particles. Average malty aroma of bread and cookie, and hoppy aroma of flowers and perfume. Spiced - coriander. It has a medium body with a sticky texture and average carbonation. The flavor has a average duration and is well balanced moderate sweet and moderate bitter.

Bottle. [thank you, BelJohansen]
Pours a light hazy orange with an okay creamy off white head. Aroma is lightly doughy, fruity with some oranges. Fine mouthfeel. Much better flavour than aroma. Sweet, fruity, vinious and lightly bitter. A little oxidized.
