Bottle, Trollenkelder, Gent 07-12-07 Poured orange/amber with white fluffy head. Qute startling bitterness with yeast and hops also racing around. An interesting and very nice beer. Had this at Mes’s 20-06-08 in the company of Mes, Ang and Loz, many thanks Mes for your generosity Spicy nose, slight bitterness fanning out, soft on the tongue, like Mes points out there is a medicinal quality to this beer but its very nice for it and finishes candy sweet, I rated this 3.6 last time and 3.5 this time we’ll leave it as it stands.

Sep 22, 2008 Bottle on the boat next to the the beer fest at peterborough beer fest. Alround rating: Peachy, sweet, candy sugar, lots of alc, very yeasty, spicey quite a bit of corriander. Too yeasty and alcoholic.

Aug 26, 2008 Bottle. Blond beer, white head. Aroma of fruits, alcohol, malts. Flavour is sweet, fruity, malty, alcohol bitter and slightly hoppy, bit yeasty.

Aug 21, 2008 Flip-top bottle pours orange amber with disappearing lacy head. Sweet, malty aroma with an herbal element that is probably coriander. Flavor is very sweet, a little spicy, with a simple bitterness that doesn’t quite do enough to balance the sweetness. Bit of alcohol shows through. Bittersweet aftertaste.

Jul 14, 2008 Bottle, 330ml swing top, at t’Velootje, Ghent. Clouded gold with carbonated head, floating yeast. Quite a sweet beer but with reasonable hop presence, with a little late bitteing. A little perfumed, polish sharpness on the tongue. it’s ok without getting special.
