| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 14, 2007 Boerken has a very nice and lasting head and dark brown color. The aroma is alluring with a harmonic balance between malt and fruit. The mouth feel is smooth and oily. The flavour is sweet, smooth and lightly perfumed with notes of fruit, roasted malt, licorice and caramel. The alcohol is present in the finish, but not as much as in Boerinneken. A beer for enjoying, a relief for the soul... drpimento (842), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA
