Pours dark - clear - amber with a finger-thick frothy head that stays. Aroma is roasted and caramel. Flavor is of dark sugar, dark fruits and an alcoholic bitterness to finish it off. Overall a very good beer!

Nov 8, 2009 dark amber with white head, malts, caramel and toasted nuts, hoppy in the end. alcohol well hidden. Body quite watery for the abv. Good but not unforgettable.

Sep 16, 2009 Bottle De Vits. Pops and gushes a bit. Pours very yeasty brown with a thick head. Rusty headsmell. Only got malty aroma’s with yeast. Rather sweet but well carbonated MF. Below average.

Jul 15, 2009 Bottle at Delirium Café, Brussels. Pours dark amber coloured with a creamy off white head. Aromas of dark fruit, molasses sugar and chocolate. Sweet flavour with notes of dried fruit, sweet malt, caramel and yeast. A little too sweet for me.

Jun 15, 2009 Cloudy ruby with a lasting off-white head. Fruity aroma with dates, spice and caramel. Dry, fruity, malty flavour. It’s complex, but quite alcoholic.

May 22, 2009 Updated: Sep 13, 2009Light brown coloured beer with large off-white head. A yeasty malty aroma. Full palate, bit creamy. Finish is roasted also bit alcoholic near the end it gets a little bitter. Nice one.

Mar 8, 2009 bottle, pours brown with a medium tan head. Sweet and spicey aroma of malt, candy sugar, and liqorice. Sweet malt and liqorice body with a light spice bitterness in the finish with light clove and cinnamon coming forward.
