Nice lemony nose, but there’s not much else, just a touch of pale malt. Quite lemony in the mouth too, with a nice bitterness and a little pine. Quite thin body, and a sweet and lemony finish. I guess it works nice as thirst quencher, but it has no qualities except for that, and that it’s a tasty pilsner. Too thin and one-tracked though. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Aug 12, 2008 Pours with a yellow hue, with virtually no head. The bitter/ astringent after taste after the exceptionally watery initial taste saved this beer in my opinion from being on the same par with bud light!
Light on the palate with light carbonation. beerledgend (919), Waterloo, Wellington, New Zealand
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Aug 11, 2008 Hazy yellow colour with no head, lemon zesty flavour, sour finish, sadly linger inmouth for ages. Ony slightly better than Corona and Miller Chill!!!
Bonus point for the location of where I sampled. unclemike (833), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 9, 2008 Clear, golden Pilsener with a miniscule white head. Slight, malty aroma; a very slight hint of bitterness in the aftertaste. I guess I should have added a lime slice to add some sourness since this is a Mexican beer MoDog (927), Griffith, Indiana, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 9, 2008 Poured from a 12oz bottle and served in a pint glass. This beer poured a crystal clear light golden with a thin head of white foam that disappeared immediately. No lacing. The aroma of the beer was made up of fresh grass, hay, and some pale malt sweetness. The flavor consisted of hay, a faint grassy hop note, and an overall watery taste. Dull... The mouthfeel was light-bodied and highly carbonated. Move along. Nothing to see here. Bartzilla (445), San Diego, California, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 9, 2008 One of the better Mexican pilsners. And that really isn’t saying a lot. But, if it’s an option, I’ll take it. I’m a firm believer that if you have to add citrus to your beer to make it palatable, then you might as well piss in your own face, or, better yet, pay a hooker to piss in your face. Seriously. If you’re gonna pay to drink piss, at least make it a perverted act. CanIHave4Beers (912), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Pretty good as far as Mexican lagers go. I had two with dinner this evening, it was a rare experience as the first one tasted like a pale ale, I am not kidding at all. Never the less the second one I ordered once again tasted like Bohemia normally does, I’m pretty sure I got a mistake bottle..... this was super exciting. No less I’ll not rate it by that bottle but rather the later. The beer has very faint aromas including a light hoppy aroma. The beer is pale without much head. The taste is certinally the feature here, it’s a fairly average beer, no less average is far better than a lot of mexican lagers I’ve had. It has a crisp clean hop flavor with some good light dry maltiness. Overall if you need something to drink with that Chile Relleno this is it. Caleb1035 (63), , North Carolina, USA
