Some lightly citrusy hops in the nose. Light-bodied, lightly sweet malt base. Fresh finish with some aroma hops. WTF, this has almost APA qualities and doesn’t appear to be a Pale Lager at all. And I suspected it to be just a new name for the standard Bohemia, but this is miles better. 200608 Earlier Rating: 7/28/2007 Total Score: 2.7 Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of joergen. Clear, pale golden with a small, white head. Fresh, citrusy aroma. Medium body with notes of brewing cereal and then again these surprising citrus notes. Quite decent really. 270707 PickettsCharge (68), USA

First of all I’ll give a general personal opinion. All the beers were served to cold. There was no, or almost no foam. If you ordered a beer, you always have to ask for a glass, which is also very cold. Always there was a lemon in the bottle. If you like it and put the lemon in your beer, than every beer would taste almost the same, because of the strong taste of a fresh lemon. The temperature in Mexico makes it understandably to serve cold beer. But you loose the real taste of the beer.
A nice, clear yellow colored beer, wih a little white head. The aroma has some bitterness and is hoppy. The taste is dry bitter. I first thought about a Belgian Saison. In the back a smooth beer. Not bad. I think one of the better Mexican beers I tasted.

It’s probably one of my favorite Mexican beers, so I went and got a sixer to share w/ my brother and rate. Very easy to get this and Modelo Negro mixed up because the bottles and labels are very similar.
The beer poured out a dark golden yellow color with a smaller sized white head. Aroma is sweet malts and a touch grainy. The beer feels really nice in the mouth, almost coating yet not. Suprised to see myself typing this with Mexican swill, but...call it as I see it I say. Flavor has a very light toffeish character too it, which went really well with the grainyness in the beer. It had an almost ceral like aftertaste. Very easy to drink, I really do enjoy this beer with a nice plate of shrimp enchiladas with chile verde on the side. laguerita (111), Chicago, Illinois, USA
