Aroma of corn, cookie, sweet malt, and adjuncts. Taste is industrial lager yeast, sweet maltiness, and bread dough. Mouthfeel is thin bodied with herbal bitterness and fizzy carbonation. Lots of carbonation in the beer and somewhat metallic in the aftertaste. Flavor is yeasts, sparkling water and other non-impressive items. uglyblond1 (174), Nebraska, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 21, 2006 A hearty pilsener, a pale golden color. The Aroma is light, but has sufficient hops. This is one of the better Mexican beers, fairly smooth but light dry malt flavor. Hops are there, but still not the top of hop flavors. Yeast still has the leather overtone common in Mexican beer Not bad with Mexican food if it is really cold. elektrogeist (158), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 13, 2006 The best widely available Mexican light lager, and maybe the best Mexican beer period. Good color and hop character, plus enough maltiness to make it a beer worth savoring. scanman (146), Santa Cruz, California, USA

Great hoppiness, color, fizz and refreshing. I like the slight dryness. A true premium lager. More complex than Modela and other mexi-lagers. Sometimes hard to find, but worth looking for in mexican markets and good beverage stores. Great bottle design (sorry, I’m as sucker for a good hold!)
