Smells like Mexican beer. Seemed to have a little more malt and an attempt at hops which made it more interesting than the usual Modelo cervesza. wnhay (722), Princeton, New Jersey, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 13, 2006 Typical Mexican light beer. Pale straw color. Small, short-lived head. Aromas are sweet: corn, rice and wheat, maltose, floral hops, corn syrup, bubblegum, and herbs. Taste is sweet but not malty. There is a bright hop flavor without hop bitterness to speak of. Slightly herbal and medicinal, odd sugary aftertaste. Would be a good summer cooler or sessioner. Just basic beer but a tad sweet for my tastes. Lunkie (1020), Glen Iris, Australia

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 13, 2006 bottle - Dark yellow, moderate but rapidly fading head. The aroma is of malts and very mild hops. The flavor is quite sweet and has very little hops noticeable, which seems a bit off if it’s supposed to be a true pilsener. It’s too fizzy on the palate. Overall it’s not too bad.
