The lime that was added without asking seemed necessary to add any flavor whatsoever (and, served as such, wasn’t that heinous). All we get is lime over light corn notes. A watery substitute for a 7-Up® that helps your spicy meal go down easy.

Flavors of bread, and a hint of corn and citrus with a crisp, clean finish. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 27, 2006 From a 12 oz. distinctive shaped Bohemia brown bottle with no freshness date. Made a nice appearance, poured a clear pale golden with a thin foamy clinging white head that reduced to fine lacing. Had a tasty clean aroma, sweet maltiness and traces of graininess and a mellow spicy, floral hoppiness. Decent carbonation and a slick, smooth light bodied mouth feel, good drinkability. Taste was at first a sweet bready maltiness, followed by a soft graininess and a fruity hoppiness, a gentle bitterness and a nice clean dry finish.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 26, 2006 Updated: Jan 27, 2006The aroma is sweet and malty with a light hopping and basement smells that I can’t figure out. The Appearance is lighter than I expected with a small head. The flavor is nothing special but exceeded my expectation. It’s malty with a light hops character. The palate is thin but it’s better than many of this style. This beer was all about effort, and if that is all it took to make a beer great this one would win a gold medal. Sadly, it’s competing at the Special Olympics. GuyCuba (15), USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 25, 2006 Unremarkable. Thin, weak flavor with minimal head. Light color, slightly unpleasant aroma, crisp finish. Needs a lime. Perhaps better on a hot day, or a hot beach. morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 18, 2006 Would not have known that this was a pilsner. Not the best Mexican beer, but not the worst either (see Corona). Drink on Cinco de Mayo. IrishBoy (2713), Bakersfield, California, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 17, 2006 Clear, golden Pilsener with a miniscule white head. Slight, malty aroma; a very slight hint of bitterness in the aftertaste. I guess I should have added a lime slice to add some sourness since this is a Mexican beer. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA
