Jul 25, 2009 Bottle in Cancun.... pours translucent straw with a fizzy head that slowly diminishes to a thin ring, leaving light sudsy lace. Semi-hoppy nose, with some weak citrus and floral notes. There is a hop essence from start to finish, and it’s hard to pick anything else up, due to such a weak body (makes the brew very hard to hold any true discernible, substantive flavors). Clean, crisp hop finish. The palate is thin and watery, but compared to most Mexican beers, this one is somewhat refreshing, and goes down well on a hot summer’s day.

Jul 24, 2009 12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Typical pale straw gold color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is faint grains and corn. Flavor is actually not too bad. Grainy, low on the awful corn syrup flavor that most pale lagers have, might even be a touch of hops with a light fruity note. Thin and refreshing, definitely the best choice if you’re at a taqueria.
