Very week head, mostly deminishing, yellow colour, very much citrus-aroma and taste, no bitterness. Not a good pilsener. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 24, 2005 Bottle. Straw body with a film of bubbles for a head. Nose-dusty and cardboard. Taste-a real surprise considering my bad experinces with beers from Mexico. Very fresh tasting, a thing I enjoy in pilsners. Does not have the usual notes of dust or cardboard. Notes of unsweet honey, spice, fruits, good hops. Still a slight adjunct aftertaste, but it is very mild. A very enjoyable beer. Who would of thunk it? biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA

What do you know, this actually has some hop flavor to it. I don’t know about Saaz or Hallertau or Tettnang. It tastes more like Crystal to me. A bit watery though. Not bad. | 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Sep 19, 2005 Bottle: Well who knows how long this gem has been sitting in the bottle, if the dust on top of the six pack is any indicator then it’s probably been sitting on the crappy little beer store’s shelves for a bit. Pours to a clear light yellow with a small-medium white head that actually sticks a bit and leaves a tiny bit of lacing. Unfortunately there’s particles floating in the beer, larger ones, that don’t signal goodness about to leap out of the glass. The aroma is stale vegitables, corn, corn syrup, sugar. The taste is corn syrup, acidic fake sugar, light vegitables, then towards the middle a bit of nice grainy malt pokes through before the plastic corn takes back over. Light bodied, medium carbonation, watery. Certainly not good, but I’ve had worse. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA

A quality water with a little corn/malt sweetness to remind you it isn’t only water. Mockba (78), Denmark

But when I am tasting it back in Denmark, I think it is missing some flavor. A beer without the big surprises, but a very very nice label. mustangjoe (172), redondo beach, California, USA

Poured a light yellow color with a very small head that disappeared pretty quickly. Very faint aroma of hops mostly. The flavor surprised me with a little bit of a hop presence. It was actually pretty decent. It was more tasty than Corona or Pacifico. This one is my new choice at my favorite Mexican restaurant.
