The mouthfeel is light, but there is an excess of carbonation. Overall, it’s barely an average beer. mookie (43), Tacoland, Texas, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jan 20, 2005 Light pilsner apearance. Tangy hop aroma delivered by good carbonation. Clean. Effervescent. Very light dry malt backed up by tangy hop flavor and approprate bitterness. Very pleasing and completely refreshing. Great with mexican food, BBQ, or other spicey foods. I also enjoy this tasty mexican pilsner with a shot of good quality tequila, never lime or salt. brocker (99), Salina, Utah, USA

As far as Mexican beers go this is really good. Other than that it’s a very average beer.
Goes down smooth after mowing lawns all day, washing dishes at Applebee’s, a hard days work at Jack In the Box or when your just tooling around with your Chevy. jfm (1694), Holbæk, Denmark

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 8, 2005 Standard "American Lager Yellow" color with a small white head and little lacing. Almost no aroma save for very mild hops. Completely forgettable flavor which was somewhere between Bud and MGD. Nothing jumped out except for some tiny bitterness in the finish. Aside from that, it is still somewhat refreshing and I prefer it to Corona. I would select one of these over any of the American "Big Bads" (Bud, Miller, Coors) and I’d also pick it over Corona but a tall glass of water would probably make for a wiser choice. mullet (801), Melbourne, Australia

I really only bought this because I remember seeing a bottle of this at the Mexican restaurant at which I once worked. I wish I hadn’t done so. papajohn (1055), San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA
