Bottle. Typical pilsner in appearance. With Mexican food not bad. Nothing exciting.

Pours with a two-finger white head that leaves a some lace. Clear pale amber color. Light bodied and light carbonation. Slightly hoppy nose. Starts slightly on the sweet side and the finish is clean, with no lingering aftertaste. Good session beer. $1.30 for a 12oz. bottle from Liquor Barn, Lexington, KY.

Pours pale gold in color. Not much head. Aroma is somewhat sweet with a little bit of corn. Smooth sipping. Flavor is that of grain and is slightly sweet. I have always really liked this beer and was surprised to see such a low rating here. So I decided to try it again. I still like it.

Golden color with not much head. Aftertaste was not the best. The best thing about it was the bottle.

Bottle. Pale straw color with a little white head. A little spice in the aroma and flavor, but otherwise not much. Very crisp and refreshing.

Bottle - Slight sweet malt aroma. LIght yellow color with small head. Sour malt with moderate hops finish. The best readily available Mexican pilsener/lager in the states.

in Mexico this beer is for special occasions and for fine dinning at a resturant and such. I dont understand the hype it gets besides the fact its expensive compared to all the rest of mexican beers. Eating good mexican food compliments this beer and thats backwards if you ask me.
