(Bottle) Pours a golden color with a descent sized white head. Has flavors of malt and hops. Light hoppy aroma. One of the better common Mexican beers available.

Has a grassiness not noticed in other Mexican beers. After that though, it’s about the same as any other Mexican brew. Flat and sweet.

Pale flat looking lager with a malty nose, and a very sweet slightly strawberry flavour. Overall a poor tasting beer.

A little more spicy than the standard Mexican lager, which isn’t necessarily a good thing. Flavor and aroma is in line with the other Mexican beers.

I love this mexican beer! When I first had it, the six pack that I purchased was so old that there were actual chunks of things in the bottom of each bottle. Later, I drank this outdoors in open-air bar patios in Tijuana at fifty cents a pop. Way fresher and way more appropriate. Some beers you just imprint with fond memories even if they may be mediocre on their own.

A beer that goes great with the food from its native country. This beer does not offer anything more than a food pairing. Grassy and slightly acidic. Very well balanced, with some nice malty notes. Nothing special though.
