Sweet aroma of estery bubble gum, with light alcohol notes. Similar flavour with more interesting esters and light notes of corn like grains included along with the hints of bubble gum. Bit light and watery at times, with an average to light palate. Intriguing, though a bit strange. 7/3/7/3/13-14 mabel (2612), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 23, 2009 My brother got this in Brazil for me. Nice treat from the bro. I wouldn’t have received this otherwise. Smells like a hefe/wit/wheat beer. Very citrusy, yeast aroma. Very nice aroma, just categorized incorrectly, if you ask me. Pungent aroma. Transparent orange/brownish in appearance. Nothing special about the appearance. Very thick yeast/citrus flavor. Nice tasting beer. Again, I am pretty sure that this is a hefe/wit or wheat ale. Has a nice and awesome yeast taste. This could be compared to Paulaner! Overall, nice beer. I really like the flavor. Can’t say that I have this opinion of Brazil beers on a regular basis. Oi, and cheers from Brazil. Russo (595), Campinas, Brazil

Very nice beer, I can say this is only one or the best abbey beer made in Brazil. If you wanna try to buy a Duvel or Chimay here, you will see that qthe Confraria can substitute them. I bought the glass to drink this beer. Nice flavor and aroma is so good that makes me remember Brussels for a second. Dark Golden color, not so bite like others in Belgium.
